Dr. Owens received his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, California. He attended Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine, Maywood, Illinois where he graduated as a doctor of medicine in 1994. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in 1999. Dr. Owens went on to complete a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles, California in 2000. Dr. Owens is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is an associate professor at the University of Southern California Medical Center where he instructs the orthopaedic surgical residents in orthopaedic surgical cases.
Dr. Owens treats all general orthopaedic conditions and specializes in sports medicine. He has been practicing in this community since 2000.
Dr. Owens is an active troop leader for the Boy Scouts of America. He has donated his medical services to the Glendale Healthy Kids organization for many years.
